during assembly. it may close suddenly causing the fingers

Attention AP-65R Owners
The AP-65R stand comes with its side uprights ® and ® already
attached to footpieces

+ Check the items that come with the unit to make sure that every
thing shown in Figure 1(@ through )) is included.
All screws are in a plastic bag inside of the packing cardboscd.

+ Before starting actual assembly of the stand, undo the clip at loca-
tion @ {Figure 7) where the pedal cable comes out the back of criss-
piece Ei Pull out the coiled cabie and refasten two chps at points
@ and @ 2s shown in the illustration.

Refer to Figures 3, 4 and 5 as you assemble the stand according to the
following procedure.

1. Attach side upright ® to footpiece ©, and side upright @) to toot-
piece © using the @ screws. Also insta'l the four angle bracket:

2. Install height adjustment screw J into hole @ located in the cen-
ter of the bottorr. of crosspiece © (Figure 3)
3, Attach side uprights @ and ® to crasspiece (; using the four "I
screws (Figure 3).
+ Make sure that crosspiece is correctly positioned as indicated
by @ in the inset of Figure 3. [t should be perpendicular (at a 90-
degree angle) tu the two side uprights, Also make sure that up-
rights @ and © are parallel with each other. If the pieces are not
positioned correctly. the nuts built into crosspiece 7) will rw seat
properly with the 7) screws, This can result in stripping cf the
threads and free tuming of outs.
