1. Stylus Pressure

Setting line
A cartridge requiring a stylus pressure of 1.5 to 2.5 grams
can be.used on the tone arm of this record player. The cartridge
supplied should be used with a stylus pressure of 2
grams.
To adjust the stylus pressure weight. proceed as follows.
Set the Speed selector to the OFF position.

Lift the tone arm
from the tone arm
rest aad hold it
securely so it will not move.

Find the horizontal balance (zero balance) of the tone arm
by moving the main weight.
This is the condition where
the tone arm floats freely, staying neither in the down or
up position.
Turn the stylus counter ring on the end of the tone arm to
the *0' position.
Return the tone arm to the tone arm rest and turn the
main weight in conjunction with the stylus counter ring to
the *2%
position (the suitable stylus pressure position).

2. Motor pulley height
Disconnect player from AC source and remove turntable.
Set
speed selector knob to 33 (or 45)rpm, and then belt shifting
lever rests against the 33 (or 45) rpm step on the motor pulley.
Using a screwdriver, loosen motor pulley mounting screw

Move motor pulley until the hole
is centered on the 33
(or 45) rpm step of motor pulley ®
or
) and tighten
motor pulley mounting
screw.
. Pick-up arm height
Loosen cueing arm mounting screw @ and set cueing lever
to *UP*.
Moving cuing arm, adjust stylus to clear a full stack
of records by 4mm(1/6").
After adjustment, tighten cueing
arm mounting screw.
. Auto return and power switch timing
When replacing pick-up arm assembly, check the timing of
auto return and power switch.
(1) Auto retun timing
Adjust auto return screw
@) to be 5.6 to 6.5cm (2-1/4? to
2-1/2") on lifting position between center spindle and stylus
when auto returning.
Late:
Turn clockwise
Early ; Turn counterclock
wise
(2) Power switch position
Losen switch

switch function lever to be 16cm (6-1/3*) on distance between
center spindle and stylus when switching on.

Gerat gelieferte System ist fir 'eine Auflagekraft von
2g
bestimmt. Um die geeignete Tonarm-Auflagekraft einzustellen,
wie folgt verfahren :
S Den Drehzahlwahler auf Position OFF stellen.
Den
Tonarm
von
der Tonarmstiitze
abheben
und
fest-
halten.
(3) Durch
Drehen
des Gegengewichtes
den Tonarm
hori-
zontal ausbalancieren.
Dies ist erreicht, wenn sich der
Tonarm
im Gleichgewicht
befindet, d.h. aus der waag-
rechten Lage weder absinkt noch anhebt.
Danach den am Tonarmende
befindlichen Tonabnehmer-
Ausgleichsring auf Position *0* stellen.
Tonarm wieder auf die Tonarmstiitze aufsetzen und das
Gegengewicht
gemeinsam
mit
dem
Tonabnehmer-Aus-
gleichsring
auf
Position
*2%
(Nennauflagekraft
des
Tonabnehmers) drehen.

. Motorscheiben-Befestigungsschraube (siehe Abb. 20 )

abziehen
und
Plattenteller
entfernen.
Drehzahlwdhler auf Position
33 oder 45 stellen.
wodurch das Verandlichhebebaum an den Absatzen fiir 33-1/3
U/min bzw. 45 U/min der Motorscheibe zu liegen kommt.
Mit
einem Schraubenzieher danach die Motorscheiben-Befestigungs-
schraube lésen. Motorscheibe verschieben, bis das Loch
in der Mitte der Absatze der Motorscheibe (ftir 33-1/3 bzw.
45 U/min) ( ©
bzw. ® -Jangreift, danach die Motorscheiben-
Befestigungsschraube wieder festziehen.
. Tonarmhbéhe (siehe Abb. 21).
Befestigungsschraube
des Tonarmlifts losen und den Ton-
armlift auf Position UP stellen.
Tonarmlift danach so ein-
stellen, da8 zwischen Abtastnadel und dem auf den Platten-
teller aufgelegten Plattenstapel ein Abstand von ca.
4 mm
besteht.
Nach
dieser Einstellung ist die Tonarmlift-Befe -
stigungsschraube wieder festzuziehen .
. Rdckfihrautomatik und Netzschalter (siehe Abb. 22)
Wenn
der
Tonarm
ausgewechselt
wurde,
mtissen
Schalt-
zeitpunkt von Rickftihrautomatik und Netzschalter iberpriift
werden.
(1) Schaltzeitpunkt der Rackfohrautomatik
Die Einstellschraube der Rickfihrautomatik so einstellen,
daf8 bei einer Hubhéhe von 5,6—6,5cm (Abstand zwischen
Plattentellerachse und Abtastnadel) die Rickftihrautomatik
eingeschaltet wird.
Schaltpunkt zu spat : im Uhrzeigersinn drehen
Schaitpunkt zu frih : im Gegenuhrzeigersinn
drehen
(2) Schaltzeitpunkt des Netzschalters
Befestigungsschraube
des Schalterbetatigungshebels lésen
und den Betatigungshebel so einstellen, da8 am Schaltpunkt
der Abstand zwischen Plattentellerachse und Abtastnadel
16cm betragt.

4. Retour

et réglage
de contacteur

Lorsque le bras de lecture est remplacé, vérifier le réglage du
retour automatique et du contacteur d'alimentation.
(1) Regtage de retour automatique
Régler la vis de retour automatique de 5.6 4 6.5cm sur la
position levée entre l'axe et la pointe de lecture lorsque le
retour automatique s'effectue.
Tard : Tourner vers la droite

(2) Réglage du contacteur d'ahmentation
Desserrer la vis de fixation de levier de fonction, régler le
levier de fonction sur 16cm par rapport a I'axe central et la
pointe de lecture lorsque la commutation s/effectue
