counterclockwise rotation – turning the device off/decreasing the volume.

5. CALL button (radio/alarm).
press the button to turn on the FM radio – press again to turn off the FM radio,
press and hold the button to turn on the alarm function – press and hold again to turn off the
alarm function.
6. MONI button (flashlight/monitor).
press the button to turn on the flashlight – press again to turn off the flashlight,
press and hold the button to turn on signal monitoring – press and hold again to turn off signal
monitoring.
7. PTT button – press and hold to transmit, release to receive.
8. VFO/MR button (VFO frequency mode/channel mode) – press the button to switch between VFO
frequency mode and channel mode.
9. LED indicator.
10. Lanyard attachment.
11. Sockets for connecting one-ear headphone with mic.
12. A/B button (active A/B channel – top/bottom line of the display) – press the button to change the
frequency location on the display.
13. BAND button:
press the button to change the operating band for the active VFO (VHF/UHF),
when the FM radio is on, pressing the button results in switching between the lower (65-75 MHz)
and upper (76-108 MHz) FM bands.
14. Keypad:
SCAN button:
o press to swap the transmit frequency and receive frequency for repeater operation.
o press and hold for about 2 seconds to start channel or frequency scanning,
o when the FM radio is on, pressing the button results in the start of a station search,
o when DCS and CTCSS tones are set, pressing the button has the effect of starting tone
search during received transmission.
button:
o in channel mode, pressing this button results in changing the transmission power (H/L),
o press and hold for about 2 seconds to lock/unlock the keypad.
MENU button – press to enter the menu and change settings.
▲/▼ buttons – press to increase/decrease a parameter.
EXIT button – press to cancel/clear or exit.
numeric buttons 0-9 – they are used to enter information necessary for programming the
shortwave radio and custom CTCSS codes; pressing the digit button during transmission results
in sending the signal code (provided it has been set with the help of a computer).
