Replacing the optical drive

To replace the optical drive, do the following:
Notes:
•
Make sure the computer is turned off and all the cables disconnected from the computer
before you replace the optical drive.
•
Make sure the computer display is closed to avoid being damaged.
1 Remove the keyboard. For details, see "Replacing the keyboard" on page
34.
2 Remove the screw shown in the illustration a. Gently pull the optical
drive out from its cavity b.
3 Insert a new optical drive and tighten the screw to secure the drive.
