Removing the Head Assembly
1. Remove the two azimuth adjustment screws
and remove the stopper holder.
2. Remove the stopper.
3. Push the slide plate all the way to the right (the
forward position) and pull the head assembly
in the direction of the arrow to remove it.

Reassembly Precautions
When replacing the head assembly, be sure the
gears mesh as shown in Fig. 3-3.

Removal of the Capstan Belt
Undo screws (F), remove the capstan motor
control ass'y, and then remove the capstan belt.
