The operator must be authorised by the plant manager. It must be installed by authorised and professionally qualified personnel, in full compliance with the installation instructions provided below.

Z41/3S RESIDUAL RISKS AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Although the machine has been built in accordance with the current safety regulations, there are some residual risks that cannot be eliminated since they are related to the machine's functionality.     2 column electro-mechanical lift Mod. Z41/3S DESCRIPTION Two column lift equipped with two arm trolleys driven by trapezoidal screws. The movement between one screw and the other is transmitted by means of a chain. A metal cable has three functions: descent limit switch and safety device in case the main nut is completely worn or the chain breaks.

    2 column electro-mechanical lift Mod. Z41/3S TRANSPORTATION These lifts are shipped with nylon packing material fastened with sticky tape and strapped onto wooden pallets. The solidity of the machines and their shape ensure that they are transported and stored safely and without damage to the machine. The machine weighs about 680 Kg.

Z41/3S POSITIONING For proper installation, following these instructions very carefully: 1) The lift must be installed on a well-levelled floor, with a minimum consistency of class R'bk 250 or above and a minimum thickness of 150 mm and made of electro-welded mesh on which there must be no expansion joints or cuts that interrupt the continuity of the reinforcement.

Within the clearance area around the machine, it is necessary to take the utmost care, both for people and for property, and there must be no obstacles, both with and without a load.

    2 column electro-mechanical lift Mod. Z41/3S ELECTRICAL CONNECTION The standard machine is designed to work with a three-phase 380V/50HZ network voltage. If the network voltage present in the system is three-phase 220V/50Hz, a specific request must be made. Before connecting to the network, check the voltage on the machine plate. It is recommended not to connect the machine to the mains until it has been positioned and fully assembled.

If assistance is required, contact an authorised centre and use original spare parts only. The spare parts list is attached to this instruction booklet.

The technical solutions, the materials used and the protective paint have been designed to reduce maintenance work. However, it is recommended to perform a set of operations which, divided between Routine Maintenance and Extraordinary Maintenance, aim at ensuring the safety, reliability and efficiency of the machine over time.
