3. Other Convenient Functions
When you play together with some other instrument, il is important to have the piano's reference pitch matched prop-
erly with the other instrument. otherwise you won'l be able (o produce the kind of music you hope for. The reference
pitch commonty refers to the pitch of the middle A key on the keyboard, and is expressed in hertz.
To tune the piano, you simply need to alter the frequency of the reference pitch.

* When you alter the tuning, the pitch of everything (including performances of data from disk) will
change.
