Threading diagram

A colour-coded threading diagram is
located on the looper cover for quick
reference.
Thread the machine in the order 1–4 as
shown on the right.

Colour code

1. Upper looper thread ............. orange
2. Lower looper thread .............. yellow
3. Right needle thread ............... green
4. Left needle thread .................. blue

Correctly threading the machine

CAUTION! The power switch must be off. Raise the presser foot before
threading. If one thread breaks, all 4 threads must be rethreaded.

Threading the upper looper (orange)

Thread the upper looper in the order 1–8.
Insert the thread into the thread guide (1) from front to back.
Thread into the uppermost thread guide by pulling the thread down until
it slips under the thread guide (2).

Hold the thread in your fingers, guide it between the two tensions discs,
then pull it downward so it is seated correctly between the tension
discs (3).
Thread the thread guides (4–7) inside the looper compartment accord-
ing to the orange markings.
Thread the eye in the upper looper (8) front to back.
Note: Using the tweezers inside the accessory box will make threading
easier.
Pull approx. 10 cm of thread through the looper and place it down
toward the back.

Threading the lower looper (yellow)

Thread the lower looper in the order 1–9.
Insert the thread through the thread guide (1) from back to front.
Thread into the uppermost thread guide by pulling the thread down until
it slips under the thread guide (2).
