Shooting still images
in TIFF mode
TIFF
Mode dial: a/ap/SCN
This mode records _n image without
compression, so _he image quality does not
deteriorate. Images recorded in this mode
are suitable for editing on a computer, etc.
Control button Shutter
Mode dial
MENU
[] Set the mode dial to a, aP or
SCN.
[] Press MENU.
The menu appears.
[] Select [Mode] (REC Mode) with
_1/1%then select [TIFF] with A.
[] Shoot the image.
When the "Recording" indication
disappears, you cma shoot the next
image.
To return to normal mode
Select [Normal] in step I_l.
• JPEG images are also recorded in the image
size selected by the Ih (Image Size) menu
(p_ge 20) Uncompressed (TIFF) images are
recoTded in [31M] size except when [2.8M
(3:2)1 is selected.
• Writing data takes more time than in normal
recording mode

In E-mail mode, a small-size image
(320x240) thai is suitable for e-mail
trm_smission is also recorded at the same
time as recording a normal still image. (See
page 20 for ihe normal still image sizes.)
