The longest route is that which follows the perimeter of the area to be treated. The ideal route is that with the fewest turns, stops or lifting and lowering of the brush plate (for manoeuvring).

Cleaning the water filter: it is positioned at the rear. Close the valve, unscrew the cap and clean the internal mesh.
