    Basic Set Up - - LF80 So you have just unboxed your LF80, what's next? Follow the steps below for a basic set up walk-through. 1. Install the Parent Unit and Baby Unit batteries The baby unit and parent unit can run on rechargeable battery or AC power. To continuously monitor your baby, it is recommended to use both battery and AC power at the same time.
  • Page 6 Next, connect the parent unit and baby unit to a power supply with the included power adapters. Make sure the power jack is inserted firmly. Then, switch them on by pressing and holding on each respective unit. If you have two baby units, make sure they are both connected to power and turned on.

    • Move the parent unit closer to the baby unit. • Make sure the baby unit is powered on. B B efore Use: Test and Position your Audio Monitor - LF80 Testing the audio monitor You may test your baby monitor before initial use, and at regular times thereafter.
  • Page 8 Make sure your baby unit and parent unit are on. Speak towards the microphone of the baby unit. You will hear your voice transmitting from the parent unit, and see the visual sound indicators light up. Note • When the parent unit displays NOT LINKED and flashes, move the parent unit closer to the baby unit while observing the minimum distance of 6.5 feet/2 meters.
  • Page 9 Place the parent unit more than 6.5 feet (2 meters) away from the baby unit. Caution The default speaker volume of your parent unit is level 3. If you experience feedback from your baby monitor while positioning: Make sure your baby unit and parent unit are more than 6.5 feet (2 meters) apart, OR Turn down the volume of your parent unit.

    Charge the battery - - LF80 When you have connected and turned on the parent unit and baby unit, the batteries will charge automatically. Note: Before using the baby monitor for the first time, charge the parent unit and baby unit batteries for 12 hours.

    Lullaby and Recorded Voice- - LF80 The audio monitor comes with four lullabies for you to comfort your baby with. You can play or stop lullabies directly on the baby unit or remotely with the parent unit. You also have the option to record your own voice (up to 20 seconds with the baby unit, and play it for your baby as a lullaby.

    Set up a timer with alarm - - LF80 Need to set a feeding reminder? Or time your baby's nap? You can do so by setting up an alarm reminder with the parent unit. Once the timer is up, an alarm will sound.

  • Page 32 Adjust the VOX sensitivity of the baby unit You can choose to hear sounds from the baby unit all the time, or to only hear sounds that exceed a certain level. Use the parent unit to adjust the VOX sensitivity of your baby unit during sound detection. The higher the sensitivity level, the more sensitive the baby unit is in detecting sounds that transmit to the parent unit.
