    Introduction Safety Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can get caught on controls or moving parts. Wear protective clothing and personal safety equipment issued or called for by the job conditions, local regulations or as specified by your employer.

  • Page 23 If the machine is used in any application where there is a risk of falling objects then a FOPS must be installed. For further information, contact your JCB dealer. The FOPS has a data plate attached. The data plate indicates what level of protection the structure provides.

    Keep all of the safety labels clean and readable. Replace a lost or damaged safety label. Make sure the replacement parts include the safety labels where necessary.
