CONVENIENT OPERATION FOR RECORDING
COMPU PROGRAM EDITING (COMPUTER
ALLOCATED PROGRAM EDITING)
2 4 Tracks are selected for both sides of the tape.
1. During stop mode, press the COMPU/TIME FADE
button 1 time
The COMPU indicator lights and "DISC?" appears ex the
fore) display.
JT ED 2. Select the disc No. with the disc number button.
"TIME?" appears on the display.
3 3. Enter the tape playing time in minutes with the digit
buttons ([1)~{10).
Press the 10's digit button and 1's digit button sequenzially,
(To enter 9 minutes or jess, press [io] and then the corres-
1 ponding digit button.} For example, to enter 46 mimates,
press [4] and [6] sequentially.
The displayed time is memorized, The player now
—_— programs the tracks for the first side of the tape withir: half
ran the selected playing time, then programs a pause, and
finally programs the tracks for the second side of the tape
within half the selected playing time. After the
2 programming is completed, the display shows all c* the
programmed tracks and their playing time in the
programmed order.

bP Pi button is pressed, the time will be changed im the
following sequence:
i 46 + 54-3 60-9 74-390 — (minutes)
With the #4 <4 button, the time will be changed ir the
3 reverse direction. After the time is selected, be sure ta aress
the COMPU/TIME FADE button. When the COMPLLTIME
FADE button is not pressed within a few seconds after the
time is selected with the #4 << of > wR button. the
displayed time is automatically memorized.
@ When the time is selected with the =< << or >» >>
button in step 3, the displayed time is automatically memo-
rized if the << << of > me button is not pressed wethin
3 seconds.
Up to 24 steps can be programmed.
With discs containing 24 tracks or more, programming may
not be correctly performed.
« ifthe selected time is too short for any track to be program-
med, programming cannot be performed.
