For a use of long duration

If you want to use this player for a prolonged period of time, attach the
supplied battery housing to the player.

Load batteries into the supplied battery housing.
Open the lid and load batteries in the correct direction, and close the lid.

Attach the battery housing to the player.
Notes on batteries
• Durable alkaline batteries or economical nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries
are recommended.
• Battery life may depend on the type or the operating condition.
• If you do not use the player for a long period of time (for longer than one week),
remove the batteries to avoid possible damage from battery corrosion.
• A very small amount of battery will be consumed even while the player is turned off.
• If you do not use the battery housing, remove the batteries from the battery housing.
• When using nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries, the battery indicator on the
player may not correspond to an actual battery consumption.
• If exhausted batteries are used, the battery indicator on the player may show full
temporarily when you turn the player on. However the player will turn off the moment
you begin operating it.
