Adjust the blade depth up or down to align the depth of cut indicator with the desired depth setting. The correct blade depth setting for all cuts should not exceed 6 mm below the material being cut.
  • Page 11 6 mm 6 mm USING THE PLUNGE DEPTH CONTROL LEVER Use the plunge depth control lever to limit the downward movement of the saw for different operations. Scoring position: With the lever in the scoring position, the downward travel of the blade is limited to approximately 6 mm depth of cut.
  • Page 12 CROSS CUTTING / RIP CUTTING 1. Remove the battery pack. 2. Move the plunge depth control lever to the blade change position. Slide the riving knife inside the guard and carefully align the slot in the knife with the studs inside the blade guard.
  • Page 13 5. Loosen the depth lock knob. Move the depth lock knob up or down to align the depth of cut indicator with the desired depth setting. Tighten the depth lock knob. The correct blade depth setting for all cuts should not exceed 6 mm below the material being cut.

  • Page 15 5. Loosen the bevel lock knobs. 6. Hold the saw base in place. Move the saw to the desired bevel angle up to 45°. NOTE: Use the bevel bypass lever to achieve bevel angles between 45 and 48°. Use the negative bypass tab to achieve a bevel angle of -1°.

    POCKET CUTTING 1. Remove the battery pack. 2. Move the plunge depth control lever to the blade change position. Using the blade wrench, loosen the screw securing the riving knife. Do not fully loosen the screw. Remove the riving knife and then retighten the screw.

    TRACK ASSEMBLY Each track has a rubber cut strip running along the edge. Before cutting a workpiece using the track, the rubber cut strip must be trimmed away. Following the steps below to assemble the tracks and trim the rubber cut strips.
  • Page 21 6. Move the plunge depth control lever to the blade change position. Using the blade wrench, loosen the screw securing the riving knife. Do not fully loosen the screw. Remove the riving knife and then retighten the screw. 7. Hold the saw above the track with the blade facing the rubber cut strip.
  • Page 22 10. Tighten the track adjustment lock knobs. 11. Place the plunge depth control lever in the scoring position. Install the battery pack. For the best performance, use a battery with a capacity of 4.0 Ah or higher. 12. Slide the saw to the starting end of track and ensure the blade is positioned to cut all the rubber.
  • Page 23 15. Release the trigger and allow the blade to come to a complete stop. Slowly allow the front handle to rise until the blade is completely inside of the guard and the saw is in the locked position. NOTE: Loosen the anti-tip knob and swing it outward to retract the lock plate.

Place the workpiece onto a workbench, table or other suitable support. Place the track on the workpiece. 2. Use the track clamp to secure the track and workpiece to the support.

    REPLACING THE BLADE 1. Remove the battery pack. 2. Move the plunge depth control lever to the blade change position. Depress the spindle lock and loosen the blade screw by turning it counterclockwise using the blade wrench. Remove the blade screw and outer blade washer.
