Installing Tracktion
The.CD.that.came.with.your.Profiler.Model.5.contains.Tracktion,.compliments.of.Mackie..
Tracktion.is.an.easy-to-use.multitrack.audio.recording.and.MIDI.sequencing.software.applica-
tion,.capable.of.unlimited.track.count,.VST.support,.automation,.and.much.more..It.comes.
with.a.variety.of.EQ,.compressor,.and.effects.plug-in.processors.for.creating.exactly.the.
sound.you.want.
To install the software:
For a PC
Place.the.CD.into.the.CD.drive.on.your.computer..Double-click.the.file."TracktionSetup.exe".
and.follow.the.instructions.to.install.Tracktion.on.your.PC.
For a Macintosh
Place.the.CD.into.the.CD.drive.on.your.computer..Double-click.the.file."TracktionSetup.dmg".
and.drag.the.Tracktion.icon.into.your.Applications.folder.
Visit.http://my.mackie.com.to.register.Tracktion..If.you.haven't.already.done.so,.set.up.an.
account.by.entering.your.email.address.and.clicking,."No,.I.want.to.create.an.account.".Then.
click."Continue."
Enter.the.information.to.set.up.your.profile..Then.click,."Create.My.Account.".Proceed.to.regis-
ter.your.Tracktion.software.
Your.computer.must.meet.the.following.minimum.system.requirements:

After.you.have.installed.Tracktion,.start.the.application.and.connect.your.Profiler.Model.5.to.
your.computer.using.a.standard.USB.cable..Click.the."Settings".tab.in.Tracktion,.and.select.
"Profiler.by.CRATE".in.the.Wave.Device.drop-down.box.under.the.Audio.options..When.you.cre-
ate.a.new.project,.two.inputs.will.appear.in.the.edit.page.corresponding.to.the.Profiler.Model.
5's.left.and.right.inputs.
