Error definition and error
detection method
1. When turning on the
power, the operation
cannot be started be-
cause of the open
phase of one of the
power lines (R, S, T).
1. The operation cannot
be started because of
the reserve phase of
one of the power lines
(R, S, T).
2. When turning on the
power, the operation
cannot be reversed
because of the open
phase of one of the
power lines (R, S, T).
The frequency cannot be
determined when the
power is switched on.
(The frequency cannot be
detected or the outdoor
fan cannot be controlled
by phase control.)
Cause
(1) Power supply error
Open phase of power
supply voltage
Power-supply voltage
drop
(2) Faulty wiring or the trance
failure
Between the power sup-
ply terminal block TB1
and the main board CN20
Between the high pres-
sure switch 63H1, H2 and
the main board CN38
(3) The fuse on the main
board failure
(4) The main board failure
(1) Faulty wiring
(2) Main board failure
(1) Check 4102 error
(1) Power supply error
(2) A fuse in the control box is
blown
(3) Faulty wiring or the trance
failure
(4) Main board failure

Check method and remedy
Check the voltage of the power sup-
ply terminal block (TB1)
Measure voltages between pins 3, 5
and 7 of the connector CN20 on the
main board. If the voltage does not
be measured 180VAC or more, the
wiring is faulty.
Check whether the connector CN38
on the main board is connected.
Check the open wiring to CN38.
Check whether the fuses on the main
board (F01, F02) are blown.
If the above faults are not found, the
main board is faulty.
Check whether the phase of the
power supply terminal block (TB1) is
normal.
Check the wiring between the power
supply terminal block (TB1) and the
main boards (CN20).

If the above faults are not found, the
main board is faulty.
Check the voltage of the power sup-
ply terminal block (TB1).
Check the fuse F1, F2 on the main
board.
Measures voltages between pins 1,
5 and 7 of the connector CN20 on
the main board. If the voltage does
not be measured 200VAC or more,
the wiring is faulty.
If none of the items described above
is applicable, and if the trouble reap-
pears even after the power is
switched on again, replace the MAIN
board.
