Replacing the Water Filter

NOTE
This fridge does not require a filter bypass
plug when the filter is not in place.
It is recommended that you replace the water
filter:
Approximately every six months.

When the water filter indicator turns on.
y
When the water dispenser output decreases.
y
When the ice cubes are smaller than normal.
y

Disassemble Filter cover
Filter is mounted on the left side of the fresh
vegetable box of the fridge.
Remove the left side vegetable box.

When you push and pull the bottom side of
y
the filter cover, filter cover is removed.

Remove Old Filter
Turn the filter to replace to the left by (
Pull forward (
) to remove the filter.

If you remove the water filter, some water

may drop, so put dry towel on the hole
in front of the case as in the figure for
absorption before removing the filter.

Replace With new filters
Hold the filter handle vertically and push in (
filter.
After fully pushing it in all the way, turn to the
right side (
).

When you first installed or replaced the filter,
y
push Water Out lever to remove the air and
activated carbon inside the filter to extract
and dispose 2.5 gallon(9.5 Liter) of each of
water and cold water (about 5 minute) before
the use. (Activated carbon is not harmful to
human body.)
Before replacing the
filter, remove the cap
of the new filter.
