8.2 Automatic super freezing

With automatic super freezing, the
freezer compartment cools much
colder than in normal operation. This
freezes the food faster.
Automatic Super Freezing switches on
when you place fresh food in the
lowest frozen food container, starting
from the right.
Automatic super freezing is activated
at the factory. You can disable
automatic super freezing.
When the automatic super freeze is
on, lights up
(freezer compartment) and
increased noise can occur. The
appliance switches to normal
operation after automatic super
freezing has elapsed.
Activate automatic super freezing
(Freezer) Press and hold for 5

aIf 2 acoustic signals sound
, automatic super freezing is

Disable automatic super freeze
(Freezer) Press and hold for 5

, the automatic super freeze is
deactivated.

8.3 Manual super freezing

With super freezing, the freezer
compartment cools as cold as
possible. Switch on Super Freeze 4 to
6 hours before storing food of 2 kg
or more in the freezer compartment.
To take advantage of the freezing
ability, use Super Freeze.

8.4 Vacation Mode
If you are going to be away for a longer
period of time, you can switch on the
energy-saving holiday mode on the device.
CAUTION
Danger of damage to health! While
holiday mode is on, the refrigerator
compartment heats up. The
increased temperature allows
bacteria to multiply and spoil the
food.

Do not store food in the refrigerator
compartment when holiday mode is
switched on.
