CONNECTION STEPS

1. Place the CA-430-L and CA-430-P in a rack or on a shelf. The CA-430-L
and CA-430-P do not require a special rack or cabinet for installation.
2. Neatly arrange and organize wiring to and from the preamplifier and all
components. Separate the AC wires from any audio cables to prevent
hum or other unwanted noise from being introduced into the system.
3. Turn off any associated components prior to connecting the CA-430-L
and CA-430-P. This minimizes the chance of momentary electrical
surges disturbing your system.
4. Connect the supplied DC power cable to the DC power output
receptacle on the back of the CA-430-P.
5. Connect the other end of the DC power cable to the DC power input
receptacle on the back of the CA-430-L.
6. Connect the analog audio outputs from your turntable to the appropriate
(MM or MC) inputs on the back of the CA-430-L.
7. Connect the grounding connection from your turntable to the grounding
post on the back of the CA-430-L.
8. Connect the analog audio outputs from the CA-430-L to the line level
inputs of an audio preamplifier or integrated amplifier.
9. With the power switch in the OFF position, attach the power cord to the
CA-430-P and connect it to your AC outlet. .
10. Press the power button on the CA-430-P to switch on both units. The
CA-403 will take approximately 60 seconds to initialize before it is ready
for use.
11. Select the appropriate input signal (MM or MC) by turning the input select
knob on the front panel.
12. If using Moving Coil cartridge, adjust the impedance load to the desired
level by turning the input impedance knob on the front panel.
