Section 3 – Configuration
Wireless Connection Setup Wizard
Network Name(SSID) identifies members of the Service Set. Accept
the default name or change it to something else. If the default SSID is
changed, all other devices on the wireless network must also use the
same SSID.
Select Automatically assign a network key or Manually assign a
network key to prevent outsides from accessing your network, the
router will automatically assign a security key (also called WEP or WPA
key) to your network.
Enable Use WPA encryption instead of WEP will help provide a more
secure wireless network. WPA is stronger than WEP and all D-Link
wireless client adapters support WPA.
Click Prev to go back to previous page.
Click Next button to proceed the next page.
Click Cancel button to return to the main menu of Wireless Setup page.
Wireless Connection Setup Wizard (Manually assign a network key
with WPA enabled)
The WPA(Wi-Fi Protected Access)key must meet one of the following
guidelines:
- Between 8 and 63 characters(A longer WPA key is more secure than a
short one)
- Exactly 63 characters using 0-9 and A-F

Click Cancel button to return to the main menu of Wireless Setup page.
