Evaporator Inspection
The evaporator should be inspected every 12 months. To inspect the evaporator:
Turn off the freezer.
1.
Unplug the evaporator blower power cable.
2.
Remove the top of the evaporator cover by unlatching the four clamps holding the evaporator cover in place.
3.
Using the handles installed, lift the evaporator cover from the machine section.

Visually inspect the blower wheel and check its balance by turning the blower wheel manually and checking for

proper balance of the blower wheel.
Inspect the evaporator coil. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any particles that are attached to the fins.
6.
Look in the evaporator box and inspect the A-Coil for debris or damage.
7.
Re-install the evaporator cover, ensuring that all ductwork is aligned with its mating piece.
8.
Securely engage and close all four clamps.
