Troubleshooting

• Camera suddenly shuts off.
Auto Power Off activated to turn off power. Turn
power back on again.
• Auto Focus does not seem to focus correctly.
Compose the image so the subject is in the focus
frame. Auto Focus may have focusing problems with a
low-contrast subject.
• Image is not recorded when the shutter button is
pressed.
1) Press [ ] (REC) to enter the REC mode.
2) Wait until the flash unit finishes charging.
3) Transfer images you want to keep to your computer
and then delete images from image memory, or use
a different memory card.
• Brightness of the monitor screen changes when
recording indoors.
Indoor fluorescent lighting can cause brightness
problems. Try using another (non-fluorescent) light
source.
• No buttons or switches work.
Remove the battery from the camera. Reload the
battery, and turn the camera back on again.
