    2. Do not operate the tractor and mower when you are tired, sick or when using medication. 3. Keep all helpers and bystanders at least 100 yards from a flail mower.     The cutting height changes by adjusting the position of the rear roller. The machine has 8 different cutting height positions. The cutting height is adjustable from ¾” to 6”. Cutting lower than 2” under most circumstances should be avoided. BEFCO PERATION...

    Mow extremely tall grass twice. On the first pass use a high cutting height. On the second pass, position the mower at the desired height and, when practical, mow at a right angle of travel to the first pass. BEFCO PERATION...

    6. Slow down on sharp turns and slopes to prevent tipping or loss of control. 7. Avoid tipping the mower while cutting. 8. Watch for holes, roots or other hidden objects. Do not use near the edge of a gully, ditch or stream bank. BEFCO PERATION...

    The mower is supplied with a PTO driveline that comes equipped with an overrunning clutch. The PTO yoke end is attached to the tractor’s PTO, while the end with the overrunning clutch is attached to the mower.
