Xvive LV1 - Professional Lavalier Microphone Manual

INTRODUCTION

Xvive LV1 is a miniature professional lavalier microphone for use with the Xvive U5 Wireless Audio for Video System, or other broadcast/recording devices. This small omni-directional clip-on microphone includes a locking 3.5mm connector, and easily attaches to any clothing. It's designed for speech and vocal applications and features high-level speech intelligibility.

Microphone Connector

Mono 3.5mm TRS output. Ensure the connected device provides a regulated + 2.5V to 10V voltage to the "+" conductor.

INSTALL CLIP

QUICK START

1. LAVALIER MICROPHONE SETUP
   1. Install windscreen and mic clip on the lavalier microphone (see "INSTALL CLIP" diagrams);
   2. Use the mic clip to attach the microphone to clothing, as desired;
   3. Run the mic cable to the transmitter in a way that avoids friction noise, and so that the cable and the wireless transmitter antenna do not cross;
   4. The Xvive LV1 Lavalier Microphone has an omni-directional pickup pattern. Keep at least 10 inches away from your mouth or audio source.
      
2. Plug the 3.5mm TRS lavalier microphone plug into your recording device or wireless audio transmitter.
