    INSTALLEREN Basis: 1. het kleine stekkertje aan het telefoonsnoer achter in de basis steken (het stekkertje aandrukken tot u een klik hoort) 2. de telefoonstekker in de telefoon- wandcontactdoos steken 3. het laagspanningsstekkertje van de adapter achter in de telefoon steken en de adapter in een 230 Volt stopcontact doen GEBRUIK ALLEEN DE MEEGELEVERDE ADAPTER.

    GEBRUIKEN Handenvrij: U kunt het telefoongesprek voeren met de handset tegen uw oor of via de ingebouwde luidspreker. 1. druk op toets om de luidsprekerfunctie in te schakelen 2. nogmaals toets indrukken om de luidsprekerfunctie uit te schake- len (de verbinding blijft in stand) Oproep aannemen: 1.

    TELEFOONBOEKGEHEUGEN Introductie: De handset heeft een telefoonboekgeheugen met een capaciteit van 20 contacten met elk een telefoonnummer van 24 cijfers maximaal en een naam van 12 karakters maximaal. Het telefoonboekgeheugen in de handset is gekoppeld aan de functie NummerWeergave, wordt u gebeld door iemand wiens naam met nummer u in het geheugen heeft geprogrammeerd dan wordt naast het nummer ook de naam van deze persoon op het display van uw handset getoond.

    LAATSTE NUMMER GEHEUGEN Introductie: De handset onthoudt de laatste 10 nummers die u met die handset heeft gekozen. Deze nummers kunt u met een enkele handeling opnieuw kiezen, kopiëren naar het telefoonboekgeheugen of wissen. Opnieuw kiezen: 1. druk op toets , het laatst door u gekozen nummer verschijnt in het display 2.

    NUMMERWEERGAVE Introductie: Indien u beschikt over de dienst NummerWeergave, dan wordt het nummer van de opbellende partij op het display van uw handset(s) weergegeven. Stuurt uw telefoonmaatschappij ook namen door of heeft u dit nummer, inclusief naam, in het telefoonboekgeheugen van de handset geprogrammeerd, dan wordt tevens deze naam op het display weergegeven.

    MULTIHANDSET Introductie: Op de PDX-8400 serie kunt u tot 5 draadloze handsets aansluiten (aanmelden). Met meerdere handsets aangemeld, kunt u gratis in en rond het huis met elkaar telefoneren en gesprekken doorverbinden of zelfs met z’n drieën telefoneren. Indien de telefoon is geleverd met één handset, dan kunt u extra handsets aanschaffen die u eerst...

    Aanmelden extra handsets: 1. druk op de nieuwe handset op toets en selecteer de optie [ AANMELDEN ] 2. druk op toets en voer de PIN-code in (de fabriekscode 0000 of uw eigen PIN-code en druk op toets de handset gaat nu op zoek naar het betreffende basisstation 3.

    Raadpleeg de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw huis- of kantoorcentrale of uw telefoonmaatschappij met betrekking tot de gewenste verbreeks- duur. 100ms is de gestandaardiseerde verbreeksduur en deze tijd is vanaf de fabriek ingesteld. PIN-wijzig: Bij [ PIN WIJZIG ] kunt u de PIN-code wijzigen die u nodig heeft bij het aan- en afmelden van (nieuwe) handsets.

    Taal: Hier kunt u de taal instellen waarmee de diverse instructies op het display weergegeven worden. Instructies om terug te keren naar de Nederlandse taal in het geval u per ongeluk een vreemde taal heeft ingesteld: 1. 3x ‘telefoon-uit’ toets drukken 2.

    TIPS EN WAARSCHUWINGEN 11.1 Algemeen: • Lees de gebruikershandleiding goed door en volg alle aanwijzingen op. • Plaats of gebruik de telefoon nooit in een natte of vochtige ruimte of omgeving. • Zorg voor een goede afvloeiing van warmte; bedek nooit de telefoon en/of de voedingsadapter(s) en plaats deze niet direct naast een warmtebron.

    11.4 Bereik: • Het bereik van de telefoon bedraagt tot 300 meter in het open veld en tot 50 meter in huis; het bereik is afhankelijk van lokale omstandigheden. Komt u buiten bereik van de basis dan dooft het symbool en knippert de tekst [ BUITENBEREIK ] in het display.

    11.10 Voeding handset: • Het display van de handset heeft een ingebouwde batterijcapaciteits- meter. Is het batterijsymbool vol ( ) dan is de accu geladen; is het batterijsymbool leeg ( ) dan moet de accu opgeladen worden. Tijdens het laden verloopt het symbool totdat de accu volledig geladen is.
  • Page 24 MOGELIJKE PROBLEMEN EN OPLOSSINGEN Problemen met inkomende oproepen: • Inkomende oproepen worden niet gemeld: − De bel staat uitgeschakeld; schakel deze in. • U bent continu in gesprek: − Controleer of een 2e telefoon of een 2e handset die op de basis is aangemeld, de lijn heeft belegd.

    • Neem de batterijen uit de handset en neem de voedingsadapter en de telefoonstekker uit de respectievelijke contactdozen; sluit alles na enkele minuten weer aan. • U kunt ook contact opnemen met de Profoon servicedienst of met de leverancier van deze telefoon. PIN-CODE VERGETEN Indien u de nieuwe PIN-code vergeten of kwijt bent, dan kunt u als volgt de fabriekscode 0000 terughalen.

    INSTALLATION Base station: 1. Plug the small connector at the phone cable into the back of the base station (press the connector until you hear a click). 2. Plug the phone connector into the phone socket. 3. Plug the low voltage connector of the adapter into the backside of the phone, and plug the adapter into a 230 Volt mains socket.

    PHONE BOOK MEMORY Introduction: The handset is provided with a phonebook memory with a capacity of 20 contacts, each with a phonenumber of up to 24 digits and a name of up to 12 characters. The phone book memory in the handset is connected to the function Caller Identification.
