Operation (continued) OPERATING YOUR FAN AND REMOTE CONTROL NOTE: The fan will store the last used speed setting for the next time it is turned on. NOTE: On each start up of your ceiling fan, the fan blades will oscillate back and forth. This is a NORMAL OPERATION for DC motor ceiling fans as they go through a calibration cycle.

Operation (continued) INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL HOLDER To install the remote control bracket (WW), remove the two screws holding the switch cover plate (XX). Do not remove the cover plate (XX). Orient the bracket (WW) by lining up the two mounting holes with those on the cover plate (XX).
Care and Cleaning Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose over time. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling. Clean your fan periodically.
