Safety instructions

RISK! ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Ensure that the base with the electrical connections NEVER
comes into contact with water! Ensure that the base is
completely dry before use, especially if it has accidentally
become wet .
Use the kettle only with the supplied base .
Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
during operation . Lay the cable so that it cannot be trapped
or otherwise damaged .
To avoid potential risks, if the appliance power cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
customer service or by a qualified technician .
After use, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power
socket . Switching the appliance off is not sufficient, because
the appliance is under power for as long as the plug is
connected to the power socket .
Before use check the appliance for signs of visible external
damage . Do not put into operation an appliance that is
damaged or has been dropped .
Repairs should only be carried out by authorized specialist
companies or by the Customer Service department .
Incompetent repairs can result in significant risks for the user .
In addition warranty claims become void .
Do not allow any liquid to run over the appliance connector .
Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
You could receive a fatal electric shock if residual liquids
come into contact with live components during
operation .
