Program download and debugging to the processor is performed using the GRMON Debug Monitor tool from Frontgrade Gaisler ([RD4]). The GR716 microcontroller provides a UART based DSU interface for Debug and control of the processor by means of a host terminal, as represented in Figure 4-10. -

ERROR condition. To perform program download and software debugging on the hardware it is necessary to use the Frontgrade Gaisler GRMON3 debugging software, installed on a host PC (as represented in Figure 4-10). Please refer to the GRMON3 documentation for the installation of the software on the host PC (Linux or Windows), and for the installation of the associated hardware dongle. -
