3. Peel the tape that secures the touch pad to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [1].
4. Open the latch and disconnect the touch pad cable from the system board [2].
5. Remove the four (M2x2) screws that secure the touch pad to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [1].
6. Lift the touch pad off the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
