Using the Headphone Output
The Digital Radio features one 3.5mm headphone output (located on the rear panel of the Digital Radio) which
allows you to listen to the Radio through headphones (not supplied) instead of the Radio speaker.
This is a useful feature if you do not want to disturb others while listening to the Radio. Simply connect the
headphones to the headphone output and the Radio will now divert the audio through headphone output
instead of the Radio speaker.
NOTE: If the headphones/earphones are not properly connected to the headphone output then the audio
will continue to play through the Radio speaker.
NOTE: When listening to tracks via the headphone output, always be aware that you may need to adjust the
volume on both the Radio and the headphones to reach the required volume.
NOTE: Do not turn the VOLUME control dial in an extremely fast motion. It is best to turn it slowly for more
accurate volume control selection.
IMPORTANT: It is NOT recommended to increase the volume higher than level 5 when listening to audio
via headphones connected to the Radio. Listening to audio via headphones at a higher volume than
recommended may cause damage to your hearing.
High sound pressure with hearing damage risk. Do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
