Power On-Off / Standby Mode

1. Once all the packaging has been removed and the Digital Radio has been placed on a flat, level surface,
insert the Power Adaptor (supplied) into a power socket and connect the other end to the DC Power Input
(located on the rear panel) of the Digital Radio.
2. Next, switch the power socket on and the Digital Radio will power on.
3. The Digital Radio will display a welcome message 'Welcome to Digital Radio' followed by entering the
standby mode.
4. To power off the Digital Radio simply switch the power socket off.
NOTE: When the Digital Radio is powered on for the first time (or after performing a factory reset), you
will be prompted to set the time and date right after the welcome message. Refer to instructions in section
'System Menu' (on page 13) to set the time and date of the Digital Radio.

Prepare the Antenna

On the rear panel of the Digital Radio there is a telescopic antenna. For best radio reception in DAB+ or FM mode,
we recommend that you gently pull the antenna away from the antenna clip and then fully extend it upwards.
NOTE: To prevent any interference, position the antenna as far as possible from any other radiation sources.
