Silhouette
Program
tends to select a slow shutter speed to
produce effectively silhouetted pictures.
To
avoid camera
shake, use a tripod.
With Nikon
Speedlight on,

inside the
viewfinder
blinks,
telling
you
to tum
off
the
Speed
light.
To make your main subject beautifully
silhouetted
There must
be a difference (at
least
2
EV) in brightness
between subject and
background.
CAUTION!
The Silhouette Program
is effective for taking pictures of
people silhouetted against the sun or a bright sky.
However,
never
look
at
the sun,
with your
naked eye,
a
filter
or
through
a camera. The
sun may
damage
the
retina and
cause permanent blindness. To
protect your
eyes,
use
a medically approved solar viewing filter.
