Extinguish any open flame.
Immediately turn off gas supply and call
your gas supplier.
 Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity
of this or any other appliance.

If you smell gas:
1. Evacuate enclosure
2. Call professional for help
The installation of the appliance must conform with local codes ANSI
Z21.74 1992, in the absence of local national Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z233.1,
and in Canada B149.2 Propane Storage and Handling Code.

WARNING
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD
If you smell gas:
1. Open windows.
2. Do not attempt to light appliance.
3. Do not touch electrical switches
4. Extinguish any open flame.
5. Shut off fuel supply cylinder valve or if
equipped with a disposable fuel supply,
disconnect the fuel cylinder from the
refrigerator.
6. Evacuate the area immediately and wait for
gas to dissipate such that you can no longer
smell the gas.
If necessary, have the appliance serviced.
Failure to follow these instructions could result
in fire or explosion, which could cause property
damage, personal injury, or death.

    Do not place the freezer in a space where air circulation is restricted. Follow “clearance” instructions. This UNIQUE 2 appliance has been certified as a portable camping appliance in North America it must be used as a portable camping appliance for use outdoors in sheltered area.
  • Page 7 Tank Holder Installation Instruction for UGP-2 1. Take out 2 pcs hose clamps, 2 pcs bolts, the regulator and instruction manual. 2. Install these 2 pcs hose clamps on the cabinet side. 3. Insert tank into hose clamps and tighten until snug. Tank should not fall out of holder when fridge is tipped forward.

Carpeting must be removed or protected by a metal or wood panel beneath the appliance, which extends at least the full width and depth of the appliance. Keep appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other liquids with flammable vapors.

  • Page 11 U N I Q U E U G P 12V DC Operation 1. If 110 Volts or LP gas is not available, the freezer can work with DC12V (3- Way models only). 2. Make sure that you turn the main power switch (E) to “DC” position. Then you can connect the 12VDC power to the terminal block which is available in the rear bottom part of the freezer.

  • Page 15 U N I Q U E U G P Check all connectors in the complete freezer LP gas system for gas leaks. The LP  gas supply must be turned on. Apply a non-corrosive bubble solution to all LP connections. The appearance of bubbles indicates a leak and should be repaired immediately by a qualified serviceman.

    U N I Q U E U G P Care and Cleaning Keep your freezer clean to prevent odor build-up. Wipe up any spills immediately and clean both sections at least twice a year. Never use metallic scouring pads, brushes, abrasive cleaners or strong alkaline solutions on any surface.
