• NIOSH/OSHA/MSHA respiratory protection.

WARNING:

to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:

• compounds in insecticides, herbicides and pesticides
• arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how
often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to
these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with
approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
• Avoid prolonged contact with dust from power
sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities. Wear protective clothing and
wash exposed areas with soap and water. Allowing dust
to get into your mouth, eyes, or lay on the skin may promote
absorption of harmful chemicals.

CAUTION:

Air vents often cover moving parts and should be

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING:
serious personal injury, turn unit off and remove
the battery pack before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start-up can cause injury.

CAUTION:
before removing extension attachment or end attachment.
An attachment must be attached to the housing before use.
Blow Tube Assembly (Fig. B)
1. To attach the tube to the blower, line up the pegs
the bottom of the tube with the notch
the housing opening as shown in Fig. B.
2. Push the tube into the blower housing until the lock
engages the tube.
3. Pull on the tube to ensure it is securely in place.
4. To remove the tube, insert a screwdriver into the
unlocking hole

on the side of the blower tube. Depress
the tab inside and pull tube off.

WARNING:
without tube securely in place. Never reach down into
housing through tube hole.

WARNING:
when you leave blower unattended or when storing, checking,
adjusting, cleaning, or working on blower.
Installing and Removing the Battery Pack (Fig. C, E)
nOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is
fully charged.

WARNING:
battery, make certain the speed lock lever
position to prevent switch actuation (Fig. E).
To install battery pack: Insert battery pack
housing
as shown in Fig. C until fully seated and an

audible click is heard. Make sure battery pack is fully seated
and fully latched into position.
To remove battery pack: Depress the battery release
button

battery pack out of appliance.
