Utility and Driver Installation 1. Turn “On” your computer. Insert the driver CD for the WLAN Card .The screen shown below will appear. 2. Click “Driver Installation” * Note: If the screen does not appear, you probably have the CD autoplay function disable. - Page 4 4. Click “Next” and then follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation. 5. If Windows prompts “… the device has not pass Windows logo testing…” or “…digital signature not found…”, click “Continue Anyway”. 6. Click the Finish button in this screen; both the driver and the Configuration Utility are installed on your computer.

Hardware Installation For Card Bus or PCI WLAN cards, simply insert the card into the computer’s PCMCIA or PCI slot after running the setup file, and then restart the computer. After the computer boots back up, it will detect the wireless card and then start the New Hardware Found wizard. -

Wireless Network Setup 1. Peer-to-Peer: Connects with other wireless client(s). This does not require Access Point. Please make sure the “Network Name” (SSID or ESSID) and “Peer-to-Peer” channel are the same for all clients in the same wireless network. Double click on the Configuration Utility icon to open the utility. - Click on “Profile Setting”... - Page 7 2. Access Point: Connects to wired Ethernet network via Access Point. - Click “Available Networks” tab. - Select the listed Wireless Network to Join. - Click “Connect” to join the network. * Note: If the Access Point is “WEP KEY” protected, please create a Profile to connect to this Access Point.

- Page 10 Installation der Anwendungssoftware und Treiber 1. Schalten Sie den Computer ein. Legen Sie die Treiber-CD für den WLAN-Adapter ein. Folgende Abbildung erscheint auf Ihrem Monitor. 2. Klicken Sie auf “Konfigurationsanwendungen installieren“ (Install Config Utilities). * Hinweis: Wenn diese Anzeige nicht erscheint, ist die Funktion CD-Autoplay vielleicht deaktiviert.

Klicken Sie auf “Weiter” (Next) und folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm, um mit der Installation fortzufahren. 5. Klicken Sie auf “Beenden” (Finish). Der Treiber und die Konfigurations-Anwendungssoftware sind jetzt auf Ihrem Computer installiert.
- Page 13 Hardware Installation Für PCMCIA- oder USB-Adapter stecken Sie den Adapter einfach ein, nachdem die Setupdatei geladen wurde. Sollten Sie mit einer PCI-Karte arbeiten, fahren Sie den Computer herunter, stecken Sie die Karte in einen freien PCI-Slot und starten Sie das Betriebssystem neu. Nachdem der Computer wieder hochgefahren ist, liest das System die Karte und startet den New Hardware Found Wizard neu.

Versichern Sie sich, dass Sie für alle Nutzer desselben Netzwerks den gleichen Netzwerknamen (SSID bzw. ESSID) und den gleichen Peer-to-Peer-Kanal ausgewählt haben. Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol für Konfigurationsanwendungen, um diese zu öffnen.

Pour les cartes PCI, vous devez éteindre votre ordinateur, installer la carte PCI dans un slot disponible, et redémarrer votre système. Après le redémarrage de votre PC, il va détecter la carte Wireless et lancer l’assistant d’ajout de matériel. -

Installazione Hardware Per gli adattatori PCMCIA e USB è semplicemente necessario inserire o collegare l’adattatore dopo aver effettuato l’installazione del software. Per le schede PCI è necessario spegnere il Pc, installare la scheda e riavviare il sistema. Dopo il riavvio il Pc troverà un nuovo Hardware e l’installazione guidata partirà in automatico, proseguire ocn l’installazione senza vidimare l’opzione “cerca il driver adatto”... - Page 35 Wireless Network Setup 1. Peer-to-Peer: connessione con altri client Wireless. Questa configurazione non richiede Access Point. Assicurarsi che il “Network Name” (SSID o ESSID) ed il canale “Peer-to-Peer” siano i medesimi per tutti i client dell stessa rete wireless.
