My Turtlebeach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Xbox headset has suddenly started to have an issue where there is a crackling sound in the audio, which makes it impossible to use. I connected to the Audio Hub app and it determined that my headset is up to date with software. I looked through the manual, and can’t find any mention of the problem. Please help.

2. How do I mute the mic? • The Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset has a flip-to-mute mic. To mute the mic, simply push ("flip") the mic all the way towards the back of the headset. When the mic is muted, you will hear a descending tone.

BLUETOOTH/MOBILE SETUP Your Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX For Xbox headset can be paired to a Bluetooth-enabled device like a smartphone, so that you can make/take calls or listen to music while you game.
