BEFORE FIRST USE

1.
Clean the baking surfaces using a damp cloth or sponge.
2. Lightly grease the baking surfaces with butter or a little oil.
3.
Connect the sandwich maker to the power socket, the red power indicator will turn on. As soon as the
green ready indicator light turns on the baking surfaces are suffi ciently hot.
4. The product is ready to make toasted sandwiches.
Note: When using for the fi rst time there may some smoke may be emitted. This is normal, because this is
the fi rst heating of the inside parts of the product.

PREPARING SANDWICHES

1.
Prepare the fi lling for the toasted sandwich. For each sandwich you will need two slices of bread and an
appropriate fi lling.
2. To achieve a better golden brown colour, you can grease the side of the bread in contact with the hot
plate with a little butter.
3.
Place the slice of bread with the buttered side on the bottom baking plate, insert the fi lling and cover with
the second slice of bread with the buttered side facing upwards. You can toast only a single sandwich. If
you want to achieve the best results it is important to place the fi lling correctly between the bread slices.
4. Carefully close the top baking surface over the sandwich so that the sandwich maker is completely
closed.
5.
After 2-3 minutes open the sandwich maker and check if the sandwich is suffi ciently toasted. Length of
preparation time, if you want a crispy, toasted sandwich, it depends on the type of bread, the used fi llings
and your personal taste.
6. Do not use metal utensils to remove the toasted sandwich. Do not use sharp kitchen utensils that cause
scratching.
7.
After fi nishing using the sandwich maker, disconnect it from the wall socket.
Note: While baking the green ready light turns on and off signalling readiness for baking depending on how
well the temperature of the baking surfaces is maintained.
