    Installation Manual Rev 1.0 1 Introduction This user manual applies to “40A Level 2 AC Charger for Plug-in Electric Vehicles (PEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)”. The Level 2 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) with 40A capabilities will be used in North America. It can provide a shorter charging time than the traditional 16A EVSE.
