Before using your jump starter, you should fully charge it. Charge built in battery before first
use, after each use, every 3 months. Fluctuations in temperature can accelerate battery
discharge. Check the unit often. Charge the unit using the supplied AC charger.
CAUTION
Use Your Jump Starter Safely
• If the unit is not fully charged it may shut down under heavy load if it cannot deliver
sufficient voltage.
• Failure to keep internal battery charged will lead to permanent battery damage.
JUMPING START A 12 V VEHICLE
a. Turn ignition off before making cable connections.
b. Make sure Power Switch on the front of the unit is on the OFF position until clamps are
connected to correctly.
c. Connect the red (positive +) clamp to the positive terminal on the vehicle battery.
d. Connect the black (negative –) clamp to the negative terminal on the vehicle battery.
