Venting the installation
7.2.2
It is essential to eliminate any air in the boiler, pipes or fittings because
this can cause irritating noise during heating or the intake of water. To do
this, proceed as follows:
1. Open the valves (A & B) of all the radiators connected to the central
heating system.
2. Set the ambient thermostat as high as possible.
3. Wait for the radiators to heat up.
4. Set the ambient thermostat as low as possible.
5. Wait about 10 minutes until the radiators have cooled down.
6. Vent the radiators. Start with the lower floors.
7. Open the vent valve (C & C1) holding a cloth (D) against the valve.
8. Wait until water comes out of the vent valve and then tighten it
again.
9. After venting, check that the system is still at sufficient pressure.
Important
Take care as the water might still be hot.
Important
If the hydraulic pressure of the water in the central heating
system is below 0.8 bar, it is advised to increase the pressure
(the recommended hydraulic pressure is 1.0 - 1.5 bar).
The purpose of this function is to warn the user that the boiler requires
maintenance.
When the letters SVC appear on the screen and the symbol
the boiler requires maintenance. Contact your installer.
