4. OPERATION
4.1.
Remove USB cover to reveal USB charging point, where the provided USB charging cable can be inserted fig.1.
4.2.
Plug in the cable to an appropriate power source. Charging will take approximately 3hr.
4.3.
There are four lights which illuminate when charging. These indicate the amount of charge in the battery. 1 = low charge and 4 =
fully charged.
4.4.
When charged remove USB cable and replace the USB cover.
4.5.
To switch on press on/mode change/off button full power white light, press again to change mode reduced power white light, press
again for a constant red light a forth time for a flashing red light once more to turn off.
4.6.
To activate by hand movement, there is a second switch hold down (approx 3 sec.) on/mode change/off button until button turns full
power light on. It can now be operated by passing hand in front of sensor. Press button again to switch off.
4.7.
The head torch can be tilted forward up to 53° from vertical in four stages. This is achieved by a cog system moulded to the rear of
the unit.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1.
Keep the torch clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
5.2.
Store torch in a dry childproof area.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product
becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and
dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak's registered compliance scheme. Jack
Sealey Ltd's Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
