    Chapter 2 Chapter 2: Installing the utility and connecting the phone This chapter describes how to install Skype™ and the U1 drivers/utilities and how to connect the phone to your PC.

    For Eee PC Windows U1 to your Eee PC Windows Before using your AiGuru U1 USB phone for Skype, install Skype™ as well as the AiGuru U1 drivers/utilities from the support CD. These programs allow you to optimize your phone features.

    When installation is completed, click Start Skype to launch the Skype™ program on your PC. If you do not have a Skype account, you may create one. If you already have an account, sign yourself in. ASUS AiGuru U1 USB Phone for Skype...

    From the main screen, click Install AiGuru U1 Utility. Click Next or click Change to assign a folder location and then click Next. The InstallShield Wizard will guide you through the installation. Click Next. If you want to create a shortcut on the desktop, check the box and click Next.

    After installing Skype™ and AiGuru U1 Utility, you may connect the phone to your PC. To connect U1 to your PC: Plug U1 into any USB ports on your PC. The ASUS logo appears on the U1 screen to indicate that the phone is activated.
