2.5 Inserting a SIM Card

The MultiPad is equipped with the SIM card slot which allows you to insert the SIM card into the unit as
shown below:
Step 1. Open the cover
To insert a SIM card, place the metal side of SIM card towards the front side of the device and the
triangular cut of the card will be inserted into the device.
To remove the SIM card, gently press the edge of the card to release the safety lock and pull the card
out of the slot.
[Note]:
1. Don't insert or remove the SIM card while the device is on. Please insert or remove the SIM card while
the device is off
2. The device support 3G (only WCDMA) card. 3G module does not support hot plug-in of SIM card. You
have to switch the MultiPad off completely, install SIM card as described above and switch the MultiPad
on.

2.6 Power on/off

1. Power on: press down the Power Button and hold it for a while to turn on the device when the
battery is full enough.
2. Power off: press down the Power Button and hold it for about 3 seconds and then select Power Off
in popup menu to turn off the device.
3. Screen Lock:short-press down the Power Button once to shut down the screen to save battery life.
Short-press down the Power Button again to activate the lock screen. After unlocking, the device will
resume the screen before locking.

2.7 Startup Wizard

Prestigio Startup Wizard will guide you through the initial setup of your MultiPad. It appears at first
start and consists of several steps. Following information will help you to avoid issues during that stage.
Welcome! Screen allows you to choose the desired language of the operational system of Prestigio
MultiPad. Tap "Change language" button to access a list of available languages. You can select the
