Using a Sampled Sound in a
Rhythm (VOICE PERCUSSION)
Use the following procedure to replace a percussive
instrument with a sampled sound you sampled with short
sampling and play auto accompaniment rhythms (page
EN-27) with it.

Each press of
(VOICE PERCUSSION) button
toggles between the VOICE PERCUSSION mode
and the normal rhythm mode.
• The VOICE PERCUSSION indicator will be on the
display while the VOICE PERCUSSION mode is
selected.

Start rhythm play (page EN-27).
• Some rhythm part sounds are replaced by sampled
sounds you sampled with short sampling.
• In the VOICE PERCUSSION mode, the rhythm
accompaniment volume level is balanced with the volume
of the sampled sound. Because of this, the rhythm
accompaniment (chords and obbligato) volume level will be
lowered automatically.
Starting a Sampling Operation

"SampAuto" appears on the display (page
EN-4).

(10-key) [–] key to select the OFF
setting.
This enables manual sampling. When this setting is
selected, sampling starts as soon as you release
step 2 under "Long Sampling" (page EN-11) or step 2
under "Short Sampling" (page EN-12).
• When the above setting is "oFF", sampling starts when

not start if you keep

Deleting Sampled Data

To delete all sampled data

• Make sure the digital keyboard is not connected to a
computer when performing the above steps. Otherwise,
data may not be deleted correctly.
To delete the long sample
1.
