INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Beforebeginninginstallation,placethe tractor
on a firmand levelsurface,set the parkingbrake,place the
PTOinthe disengaged(OFF)position,stop the tractor's
engine and removethe ignitionkeyto preventunintended
starting.
WARNING: Cutting bladesare sharp.Alwaysprotect
handsby wearingheavyleatherwork glovesto grasp
blades.

Removecuttingdeck from beneathtractor(referto Cutting
DeckRemovalin CraftsmanRevolutionZero-Turn Riding
MowerOperator'sManual).

Gentlyflip the deckoverto exposeits underside,

Placea blockof wood betweenthe deck housingbaffleand
the cuttingbladeto act as a stabilizer, t henuse a wrench
to removethe hex flangenutthat secureseach bladeto its
spindleassembly.
IMPORTANT:Thehexflangenutshavea right-handed ( normal) t hread
pattern. D oNOT attempt t oforcethenutsin theopposite direction. Doing
somaydamage t henut.

Replacethe bladeswith the bladesincludedin the kit. Be
sureto installeach bladewith the side marked"Bottom" (or
with a part numberstampedin it) facingthe groundwhenthe
moweris in theoperatingposition.

Figure2.

INSERTING
THE MULCH PLUG
1.
Lift the dischargechute up (A).See Figure3.
2.
Insertthe mulchplug into thedeck dischargeopeningby
fittingthe tab on the rear sideof the mulch plug insidethe
deck(B)and pivotingthe mulch plug intoplace(C).
3.
Pull and stretchthe retainingstrapon the mulchplug over
the deckwheel bracket(D) on the deck and hookontothe
bottomof that bracket as seenin the insetof Figure3.
