Camcorder Settings
Use the onscreen icons to adjust your camcorder settings. You can also switch between photo and
video modes from the camcorder screen.
Change Advanced Settings
To change the advanced settings on your camcorder, refer to the following procedures.
Tap
in the menu panel to display the Settings menu and access more camcorder settings.

You can change the following settings from the Settings menu:
Edit shortcuts allows you to set shortcut icons for the settings that you use the most.
l
Self-recording allows you to set the front camera so you can take videos of yourself or
l
video chat.
Flash allows you to set the flash options to Off or On.
l
Recording mode allows you to set the recording mode to either Normal (limited only by
l
available space on the destination location), Limit for MMS (limited by MMS size
restrictions), Slow motion, or Fast motion.
Effects allows you to change the color tone or apply special effects to the photo. Choose
l
from: No effect, Cold vintage, Warm vintage, Posterize, Solarize, Green point, Blue
point, Red-yellow point, Washed out, Cartoonify, Black and white, Sepia, or
Negative.
Exposure value allows you to adjust the brightness level.

Timer allows you to set a timer for how long to wait before taking a video. Choose from: Off,
l
2 sec, 5 sec, or 10 sec.
Resolution allows you to set the image size to one of the following: 1920x1080, 1280x720,
l
720x480, 640x480, or 320x240.
White balance allows you to adjust color casts in your video. Choose from: Auto, Daylight,
l
Cloudy, Incandescent, or Fluorescent.
Outdoor visibility allows you to maximize your videos taken while outdoors.
l
Guidelines allows you to turn the guidelines On or Off.
l
Anti-Shake reduces image blur due to the movement of the subject of the video or hand
l
movement.
GPS tag allows you to turn GPS On or Off (also known as Geotagging). The location of
l
where the video is taken is attached to the video.
