Insert the battery, contacts end first, and gently press the battery into place. Replace the battery compartment cover, making sure all the tabs are secure and there are no gaps around the cover. Note: When you insert the battery, your phone may power on automatically. Insert the USB cable into the power adapter.
While the phone is charging, if the touchscreen does not function due to an Warning! unstable power supply, unplug the USB power adapter from the power outlet or unplug the USB cable from the phone. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet and charge your battery. Fully charging a battery may take up to three hours.

Swipe the screen left or right to display additional screens. Note: Your phone's home screens cycle through so that you can keep swiping in one direction and make it back to the home screen.

The onscreen QWERTY keyboard works the same in both portrait and landscape mode. Assigning the Samsung Keyboard The Samsung keyboard is a built-in, QWERTY keyboard which you can use to type letters, numbers, punctuation, and other characters. Your phone's default entry method is Samsung keyboard. If you have another keyboard set, follow these steps to reassign the Samsung keyboard.
Note: Samsung keyboard is selected by default. Depending on your phone's configuration, there may not be another keyboard type available, although Swype and Google voice typing may still be used. Google Voice Typing This feature uses Google voice recognition to convert your spoken words into onscreen text.

Auto Adjust Screen Tone Wallpaper The Wallpaper settings option allows you to set the Wallpaper for your Home screen, Lock screen, or both.
