1) Lift the kettle off of the base when filling it!
2) Press the unlocking button
NOTE
When filling it, hold the kettle upright. This is the only way to read the
markings on the scale
3) Fill the kettle no further than the MAX mark, so that boiling water cannot spill out.
4) First close the lid, then place the kettle on the base
