Defrosting of food

NOTE!
• The microwave power during thawing is 30% and cannot be set manually.
4.4.3.1

Defrosting by weight

1. Place the food to be defrosted in the middle of the turntable and close the door.
2. Press the Weight Defrost button.
The screen displays d01.
3. Adjust the weight of the food to be thawed using the selector dial.
The weight can be set from 100 grams to 2000 grams, in steps of 100 grams.
4. Press the START/+30s button to start the defrosting.
5. When half of the defrosting time has elapsed, a beep sounds twice to indicate that the food must be turned.
ATTENTION! The appliance does not stop automatically.
6. Open the door to pause the defrosting and turn the food over. The appliance pauses the preparation.
7. Close the door and press the START/+30s button to continue defrosting.

Defrosting by time

1. Place the food to be defrosted in the middle of the turntable and close the door.
2. Press the Time Defrost button. The screen displays d02.
3. Set the desired time with the selector dial.
4. Press the START/+30s button to start the defrosting.
5. When half of the defrosting time has elapsed, a beep sounds twice to indicate that the food must be turned.
ATTENTION! The appliance does not automatically stop defrosting.
6. Open the door to pause the defrosting and turn the food over. The appliance pauses the preparation.
4.4.4

Two-stage food preparation

NOTE!
• When the defrosting function is used, it will automatically be set as the first step of the preparation.
• The timer, Auto Menu and the quick setting cannot be used in a two-step food preparation.
• The START/+30s button can be used to increase the preparation time except when defrosting by weight is set.
Example of a two-step preparation: defrost for 5 minutes and then cook for 7 minutes with 80% microwave power.
To set this example:
1. Press the Time Defrost button.
The screen displays d02
2. Set the time to 5 minutes with the selector dial.
3. Press the Microwave button.
The screen displays P 100.
